Kittens may go to their new homes at 12 to 14 weeks of age. 12 weeks is the minimum age required by TICA, and I follow it without exception. By 12 to 14 weeks, kittens have received their vaccinations and reached appropriate physical and emotional maturity. I do not release kittens early under any circumstances.
No. The application is mandatory for all prospective adopters. It ensures each kitten is placed safely, responsibly, and into a home that can meet my care standards, including nutrition, grooming, oral health, and lifelong commitment. I do not accept inquiries or placements without a completed and approved application.
No. My prices are firm and non-negotiable. The cost reflects the quality of my breeding program, the veterinary care provided, the health testing completed on all breeding cats, and the time and resources invested in raising each kitten. These standards are not optional, and neither is the price.
For security and animal welfare reasons my exact address is not published. Location information is provided only after an application has been completed, reviewed, and approved. A meet and greet is scheduled at that stage. This policy protects the cats in my care, maintains biosecurity, and ensures that only committed and respectful adopters who follow the required process move forward.
No. I operate a fully closed cattery to protect the health and safety of my cats and kittens. Viruses, bacteria, and parasites can be carried on clothing, shoes, and hands, and newborns and pregnant queens are particularly vulnerable. For transparency, I provide photos, videos, and updates throughout the adoption process.
Applicants who live locally may be offered an outdoor meet and greet after completing an application. This allows me to observe how the kittens interact with you while maintaining biosecurity.
Important
All adults attending must read the FAQ beforehand. This prevents repetitive questions and ensures a respectful, efficient experience. I expect all attendees to be informed, courteous, and prepared.
Absolutely not. Maine Coons must never be outdoors without supervision. Harness or leash training, or a secure enclosed catio, is recommended for safe outdoor enrichment. Unsupervised outdoor access exposes cats to predators, vehicles, toxins, parasites, illness, and theft. For their safety, all kittens must remain strictly indoor-only unless directly supervised.
Yes. I expect families to brush their cat’s teeth at least twice per week. Proper dental care prevents plaque, tartar, gingivitis, and long-term systemic health issues. My full oral care recommendations are available on the Oral Health page.
No. At this time, I do not sell breeding rights. All kittens are placed as pets only. This allows me to maintain control over the quality, integrity, and health of my lines, and ensures that every kitten is placed in a home where they are valued and cherished as companions.
No. I do not place strict stipulations on specific brands of food or feeding methods. However, I strongly recommend that all kittens are provided with a healthy, nutritionally balanced, protein-rich diet to support proper growth and overall well-being.
Proper nutrition is essential for maintaining health, muscle development, energy levels, and long-term quality of life. While you are free to choose the diet that works best for your kitten and your household, I am happy to offer guidance on high-quality options to help ensure your kitten thrives in their new home.
I do ask that all kittens be supplemented with taurine. For more more information, please email:

Yes. All of my cats are TICA registered, pedigree-holding Maine Coons. A pedigree denotes purebred status and verifies lineage through an established registry.
Each breeding cat on my website has a link to their PawPeds pedigree, allowing you to view their ancestry.
You may also view the TICA Certificate of Registration for every cat currently in my breeding program. These certificates are available in the drop-down menu under TICA Certificates.
